Living Full-Time in our Fifth-Wheel Trailer
Bruce and Mary Sue Rosenberger
email:  bruceandmarysue [at] yahoo [dot] com

For many years we lived in a traditional house, but since we retired we can truly say, "Home is where we park it."

On April 5, 2005, we moved into our New Horizons fifth-wheel trailer as we continued the process of cleaning out our home in Greenville, Ohio, in preparation for selling the house where we had lived since 1994.  The sale of the house closed on May 11, 2005 and our journeys began.  We continue to enjoy the RV lifestyle and look forward to seeing new places and having different scenery outside the kitchen window.

We sometimes stay at one place for an extended period of time, but even when we travel we seldom go more than 150 miles in one day and try to stop for at least two nights so we can enjoy the place where we are.

Our home-on-wheels on South Padre Island, Texas, in late February, 2007.  In the background is the Gulf of Mexico.

At Virginia's Beach Campground on Lake Erie about twenty miles west of Erie, Pennsylvania.  August, 2007.

Thus, our life involves time for daily physical exercise, for spiritual nurture, for new friendships, for reading and learning,  for discovery and delight.  Below are some reflections on our experience living full-time in our home on wheels.
