MIRACLES AND WONDERS

What is a miracle?
How do you define it?
Is it not some wonder we can’t explain
that makes us stop –
and praise God?
Then you are a miracle,
and so am I!
The rotation of the earth
and the circulation of our blood
are miracles!
Life is a miracle,
and love.
The change of seasons and
the continuing rhythm of day and night
are miracles!
The beauty of mountains, forests and seas
is miraculous,
as are our senses thru which we enjoy it.
Growth and grace,
Birds and beasts,
Seeds that sprout,
Memories and hope
are miracles.
But the greatest wonder of all
is that we so rarely notice!
