DAILY COLORS
Morning is golden.
Noon-time is white.
Evening’s pink-orange.
Then comes the night.
The sky is black velvet,
Sequined with light.
The stars and the moon,
Are yellow and bright
Unless dark clouds
Blot out the stars’ glow,
As the peek-a-boo moon
Sails ever so slow.
Then morning dawns gray,
And noon’s dreary blue.
Evening is dull brown,
As silver drips through!
God must love color,
Because, ev’ry day,
The world’s painted afresh
In the Creator’s way!
And God has given us
Eyes to see!
How boring a black and white
World would be!
